Little Levels

I love kids. And I love photography. So when I'm around them, it's pretty natural that I take pictures of them. I think the families I babysit for have caught on :) I kid, I kid.

Every now and then I watch the kiddos of the man behind redraidersports.com (Chris Level) Jordan writes for the web site too - check it out! Jordan says he's like the Bill Gates of Texas Tech sports - he has a monopoly on all things Tech.

And here are the kiddos. Holin and Luke, meet Internet.

Jeff and Tiffany's flock

aka youth peeps!!

I know I've talked about my little youthies before... But let me just take this opportunity to say (or type, I guess) once again how much each of these kiddos mean to both Jordan and I. And what's crazy is that they are no longer kiddos... I mean, come on, they can DRIVE and almost VOTE and some of them are even already in COLLEGE! It wigs me out but at the same time, I consider myself SO blessed to see them grow up as we remain buddies throughout it all.

And that's one of the many reasons why this trip was so special and fun. We danced ridiculously, we sang (with some intense passion), and drove into wee hours of the night. We laughed about old jokes and laughed even harder about new ones. Really, I can honestly say that I've never laughed so hard about a street sign in my entire life.

So, see for yourself. Full of life I tell you. Full of life.

Jeff and Tiffany - the wedding

I just love watching these two laugh together. And when Tiffany laughs, she laughs good and hard, and I just love being the one to capture those moments. Tif and Jeff have been dating for about 3953 years, and it's so cool to see how God has grown them in their relationship with each other.

It was a fun-filled weekend, that's for sure. There were nine of us road trippin to tyler, texas, and let me just say that those 14 hours of driving were well spent. Really, I will never dance to the macarena the same :) If any of you have never gone on a road trip and car-danced for so long that your stomach hurts, then please go treat yourself to some blissful dancing right now.

Oh right, the wedding! Here are some highlights. And for youth folk - there WILL be a post in the near future featuring your beautiful faces. Get excited.

a whole year with my honey

so here's what happens when i try to write meaningful things about really exciting happenings... i end up spending an hour trying to sound eloquent in my attempt to paint a beautiful picture by using poetic words. i'm just not up for the task tonight :)

but i do want to say that this past year has been the best year of my life. cliche, i know, but really... being married to Jordan has taught me more about life than I have ever learned. And the way he loves and cares for me points me directly to Christ and shows me so much of how God loves and cares for His children. I could go on. I love talking about marriage! But to sum it up. God is so good and Jordan is more than I could ever ask for. There.

I'll leave you all with a little recap from our first year together :)

our wedding! (shot by the lovely kristin bednarz)

Arthur and Brandi - the wedding

Before I get started jibba jabberin about the wedding, I've got to say... Brandi put SO much time and effort into this wedding... More than any other Bride I have ever met. You should check out her blog and see all of her amazing creations. I mean, really, everywhere I looked throughout the entire day, there were little (and big) Brandi creations... bouquets, candles, centerpieces, even the flower girl's dress! Now, to the wedding day...

The wedding was beautiful, Brandi and her girls were radiant and so much fun, Arthur and his fellas were handsome and ornery (as they usually are!) and everyone who was a part of this wedding had such a good time. See for yourself.
